ZoomISO v3: A Step-by-Step Course

Welcome. This is a complete, plain-English course on ZoomISO version 3. It takes you from a blank screen to running professional video feeds out of a Zoom meeting with confidence. Work through it in order, or jump to the lesson you need.

What is ZoomISO?

A normal Zoom call gives you one combined picture: the speaker, or a grid of everyone. ZoomISO is a Mac app that does something different. It reaches into a Zoom meeting and pulls out each person, and each shared screen, as its own separate broadcast-quality feed.

You can then send those individual feeds into professional production tools and equipment: live-streaming software, video mixers, big screens, and recording systems. In short, ZoomISO lets you treat every remote guest as if they were their own camera in a studio.

This course is written for ZoomISO version 3.0.3. It assumes you have a Mac, and it explains every term as it comes up. You do not need any production background to follow along.

Who this is for

  • Anyone producing hybrid events, webinars, panels, or worship services that mix in-room and remote people.
  • Studios and operators who want each Zoom participant as a clean, separate feed.
  • Anyone curious about how modern remote production actually works.

How to use this course

There are fourteen short lessons and a quick-reference page at the end. Each lesson builds on the one before it, and ends with a link to the next. The first five get you set up and oriented. Lessons six to eleven are the hands-on workflow. The last three take you into the deeper settings, performance, and automation.
