By accessing or using the Something to Learn Online (S2L) platform at s2l.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Account Responsibilities
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your details up to date.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@s2l.online.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Course Content and Intellectual Property
All course materials, including videos, text, images, and assessments, are the intellectual property of mobilearn.africa or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, sell, or reproduce any course content without written permission.
Your access to course materials is for personal, non-commercial use only. Sharing your account or course materials with others is not permitted.
4. Free and Paid Courses
Most of our courses are available at no cost. Some courses require a one-time payment. Prices are displayed on the course page before enrollment.
Paid course access is granted once payment is confirmed. We currently do not offer refunds for paid courses, but we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis if you experience technical issues that prevent access.
5. Acceptable Use
When using our platform, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Upload or transmit harmful software, viruses, or malicious code
- Interfere with the operation of the platform
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Use automated tools to scrape or download course content
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Certificates and Completion
If we offer certificates of completion, they are provided as a record of your learning. They do not constitute formal academic qualifications or professional certifications unless specifically stated.
7. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the platform offline for maintenance or updates.
We may add, modify, or remove courses and features at any time. If changes affect paid courses you have purchased, we will do our best to notify you in advance.
8. Limitation of Liability
Something to Learn Online is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that our courses will lead to specific outcomes such as employment or business success.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, mobilearn.africa will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Third-Party Services
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services for payments and analytics. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date below. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email or through the platform.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
